Madeira Pony

Hidalgo Madeira – compact, flexible and individual

The Hidalgo Madeira is our particularly compact leather tree saddle for ponies and small horses. It was developed above all for children, teenagers and very small riders, and combines the advantages of our flexible leather tree with especially short, space-saving dimensions.

The standard seat size is about 27–28 cm, and the saddle flap is also deliberately kept very short. Very petite adults may find room, but we generally do not recommend the standard version for adult riders.

Madeira Standard – € 790
Our compact standard version with a flexible stirrup bar. This variant is particularly well suited to very round, wide ponies, where the saddle should adapt as flexibly as possible to the body shape.

Madeira with classic Hidalgo stirrup bar – € 990
For more athletic and somewhat slimmer ponies we recommend the Madeira with our classic Hidalgo stirrup bar, as also used on our regular leather tree saddles.

Madeira Special – € 1,990
For small adult riders we recommend the Madeira Special. Here the seat size, saddle flap and the entire dimensions can be individually adjusted to pony and rider. Colours, leather and equipment details can also be chosen individually. This keeps the saddle nicely compact on the pony's back while giving the rider enough room and a suitable leg position.

Madeira Premium – € 2,490
Our most exclusive version with our finest leather qualities, top-quality equipment and maximum individualisation. Size, saddle flap, colours, leather and further details can all be individually configured. The Madeira Premium is the right choice for anyone who wants the very best in material, workmanship and individualisation.
