Hidalgo Short Girth Basic Moon Shape made of leather*

Our anatomically shaped moon girth was developed especially for horses whose natural girth groove lies relatively far forward or whose shoulder reaches far back.

Thanks to its special moon shape, the girth helps to stabilise the saddle behind the shoulder instead of pulling it forward towards the scapula. The shoulder gains more freedom of movement and the saddle can sit where it belongs – without unnecessarily blocking the shoulder.

The moon girth is particularly soft and comfortably padded, making it very pleasant for the horse to wear.

Ideal for:

• Horses with a girth groove that lies far forward
• Horses whose shoulder reaches far back
• Saddles that tend to slip forward onto the shoulder
• More freedom in the area of the scapula

Sizes and colours: available from 45 cm and, on request, in almost any custom size. Stock sizes are approx. 50 to 80/90 cm, depending on availability.

As standard we carry various models in black, brown and cognac. On request we can also have the moon girth made in a colour to match your saddle.
