2. You use the saddle on your Haflingers – how does the Chicago Spezial fit them?
Heidrun:
“Perfectly! My Haflingers are rather broad, and that’s where many saddle brands – especially leather tree ones – struggle. Hidalgo is different: their saddles are fantastic even for extra-wide horses. They adapt beautifully, sit quietly, and you simply ride them in. Nothing pinches, and my horses move freely and happily.”

3. What do you personally appreciate most about your Hidalgo saddle?

“Definitely the close connection with the horse. I sit near, feel every movement, and yet it’s incredibly comfortable – even on long rides. I wouldn’t trade my Chicago Spezial for anything. I’m absolutely thrilled, especially because Hidalgo offers solutions where other brands reach their limits.”
